Desde la Organización Médica Colegial, en colaboración con la Vocalía de Médicos en Formación y/o Postgrado, la Vocalía de Empleo Precario y la CESM, iniciamos en el año 2014 el proyecto Encuesta sobre la Situación de la Profesión Médica en España, una iniciativa que pretendía denunciar la precaria realidad de la situación laboral de los médicos españoles.
La colaboración de los Colegios de Médicos Provinciales, la Confederación Estatal de Sindicatos Médicos (CESM) y toda la colegiación ha sido fundamental para el éxito de participación conseguido, desde las 10.000 encuestas en el primer muestreo se ha llegado hasta las 13.498 encuestas en el quinto muestreo de marzo de 2018, convirtiéndose en un estudio de referencia a nivel nacional.
